Your role as Manager PMO

In your role as Manager Project Management Office you will be driving and realizing the top 20 strategic projects on customer focus, innovation, and operational excellence to improve the capabilities and grow the business within the worldwide, multisite company. You coordinate the 3 regional project management review boards, bridging sponsors, project managers and other stakeholders through effective communication, ensuring projects keep on track and are “the gatekeeper” on the budgets of the different projects.

Your success lies in prioritization and managing the dependencies between projects, scope definition, change proposals and realizing the deliverables of the projects. Additionally, you will be responsible to take the next step in our project management method by standardization, KPI’s, and development of staff.

In order to achieve the strategic roadmap by program and project management you need to be an experienced professional who has dealt with similar challenges before and feels a close connection to both a business and production environment.

You report directly to the President of Schunk Xycarb Technology.

Your profile

As the Manager PMO you are a great communicator. You possess evident leadership capabilities and are able to maintain a helicopter-view on all projects. With your ability to zoom-out you are able to guide projects and people in the right direction. You are proactive and driven. You dare to make decisions and take ownership of your role within the organization.

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following:

• A Master’s degree within a technical field (such as mechanical engineering or chemical science);
• Proven project management experience (e.g. a PMI certificate. Minimum PMP but PgMP or PfMP is preferred);
• A solid track record of managing complex (change) projects regarding double-digit investments in a R&D, Sales & Marketing and/or Operations environment.
